The Joss & Main Aleja bed arrived well packed with no damage and looks exactly like the picture. We had box springs but it made the mattress too high against the headboard. We added a bunky board and the mattress height is exactly where it should be. We have a Beautyrest Black mattress which is 10" high and fills the frame right to the edges. Looks just as amazing as you would expect! There are no issues with the pieces fitting together. The headboard is thicker than I realized, but its not a complaint. Its also slightly soft and cushioned. Delivery was less than ideal, I missed the call and they immediately left. I had to reschedule for 4 days later. This bed frame looks exactly like the picture! The description says it is not compatible with an adjustable bed frame. The reviews from others say it is compatible.
