Purist® Grab Bar

I looked at so many grab bars and decided on these for my bathroom. The polished nickel is very pretty. The only caveat is that I found the Kohler polished nickel to look different depending upon what batch it was ordered from.

The purest grab bar is NOT your grandma’s grab bar! If you’re worried about the bar detracting from the esthetics of your bath or shower, it’s modern, clean lines make it look more decorative than safe. Since it’s screwed it into a beam, the bar takes my full 150lbs without moving at all. Don’t hesitate because it can truly be a life saver!

This is a very solid grab bar, and was the correct length and width for what we needed. The thickness is sturdy, and the mirrored finish is attractive. Our house already had other grab bars, which were kind of high-end and had been installed by a custom bathroom remodeler. I think this item was worth the extra cost compared to other similar bars, as it is rock-solid, and looks upscale, and matches the ones we already had. We're grateful we were able to find this one, which was what we needed in this particular circumstance. (Note: We installed ours to a wall stud, so you'll need a stud-finder device to help out with that).

Looks like a towel bar (and we use it as one too) but I use it to get into and out of our deep bathtub without dying! It’s a lifesaver!

These grab bars were a perfect addition to our shower.

It's a nice design but the finish doesn't look like it will hold up compared to my more expensive polished nickel shower hardware.

Coordinates well with other Kholer brushed nickel items even those of other collections (not purist).
