We have an nonstandard fireplace opening & needed a screen 36" tall. I had a hard time finding one. Finally, this one is exactly what I had in mind. It looks clean and simple & would fit into any decor. The mesh is fine and the frame is very sturdy. Easy to add the add'l "feet" to brace the screen.

We just moved into a rental house and needed something to keep our cats from eating the rocks in our fireplace. This works perfectly. I like that it blends in and doesn’t become the focal point of the room. Easy to put together. We opted to leave the back pieces off in order to make it flush against the fireplace to deter the cats. I would not leave it like this if we actually lit the fire because I imagine it would get super hot and be quite dangerous.
