Get a true feel for the dough thanks to this favorite tool of French pastry chefs. Designed to allow for close, fine work, these rolling pins tapered ends make them easy to grasp.

As described but much large than I was anticipating (should have read the dimensions!).. Dianne. Boston, MA. Thu Mar 20 2025

Rolling pastry goes better with weight behind it, and marble supplies plenty of that. A pin that stays cool suits buttery dough, and this one glides rather than drags. Its base gives it somewhere to sit on the counter rather than rattling around in a drawer, which means it stays within reach on baking days.
