It also has a push button foot pedal which makes switching the light option and turning on and off so much easier. The only negative is the tree was packed in a small box and required a lot of manipulation of the branches which led to shedding quite a bit of flock. Ok. At first I really didn't like this tree but it "grew" on me. It actually is very pretty and all the lights worked!!! It has about 7 different light settings and an on/off switch on the cord.
