Chair is very attractive and comfortable. I paid for assembly and I’m glad I did. It seemed difficult for the tech to tighten the screws and one leg had to be hammered into place because it wouldn’t fit. The base of the legs have holes in the center, a logical place to install a small metal plate to protect the wood. However, those plates were not included. I already had felt circles to protect my wood floors. I will have to source the plates to protect the wooden legs. Would I buy it again? Yes! These chairs are absolutely beautiful. Very, very well made. They are oversized in the best sense. You can cozy up in them without feeling as if they are too big. I would recommend ordering a fabric sample from Bernhardt if you aren’t 100 certain about the fabric you are choosing. Our chairs were a bit lighterbrighter blue than I was anticipating (which is understandable since all computer monitors differ in regards to color). The swivel works perfectly, as well. We purchased these for a sitting area in a bedroom at our lake house. I wanted them to swivel so you could easily see the view of the lake or the the tv inside the room. They beautifully meet both needs. The only downside was the length of time it took to receive them - 5 months - but I can see why. These are custom chairs and beautifully crafted. They are a very good (largish) size, exactly what I was hoping for — I can comfortably fold my legs into the chair without them slipping off the edge. The color is really nice and is a bit more olive/muted than in the photo. The color of the wood legs is a bit darker and richer in person, which I prefer. The fabric is very soft.
