Great sturdy bed. I dont usually assemble big items for our family but I was able to do this one by myself. Tested for some time. Very sturdy and quiet. Nice profile. The green is more grayish than the photos but not a deal breaker difference. The box came with a hole in it that punctured the back fabric of the headboard. We were looking for a bed that would fit under our window and there were not as many frames available under that height in the style we were looking for but this one fit perfectly. With a slight modification from our original plan. This bed was exactly what we are looking for. The description says the bed is a platform bed and no box spring is needed, while you can use this bed with just a mattress, I would recommend adding a box spring. We removed the bed slats and replaced with a 9" metal box spring. This accompanied with a 10" memory foam mattress leaves this mattress at the perfect height. Lets start with the fact that its a SOLID and super easy to assemble bed, like 15 minutes. All pieces feel heavy and well made. However, the COLOR was a disappointment as it not close to the stock photo. I ordered the "linen white" and it's way more BEIGE in person, straight up beige. Much darker than the photos too. I looked and looked for a king bed frame. I found this and I am very happy with it. It was delivered quickly. It was easy to put together. I did it all by myself. It looks stylish. It is lightweight so if I need to slide the bed over to vacuum no problem. It sits low to the ground which I prefer. This keeps my cat from getting under the bed, with my other bed it would become a sleep place for my cat and quite a lot of hair would accumulate. I have been carefully to not let my cat use this bed as a scratching post. So, now the cat sleeps on the bed and loves it too. (I know some cats are impossible to teach.)
