I didn’t need to build anything, which I loved, it just came ready to go. My cat claimed it the first night (of course). The arms are a bit higher than I expected though, so not great for everyone maybe. It doesn’t swivel or rock or anything, just a chill, sit-back type of chair. I was a bit disappointed when I first saw this chair in person. Due to the nature of the type of velvet used, it looks worn, not new. This is a $300 chair at best, not $1,000 chair as Wayfair has priced it. Granted, there was no assembly required as it was delivered by Wayfair. Still this chair incredibly basic.
