I was a bit disappointed when I first saw this chair in person. Due to the nature of the type of velvet used, it looks worn, not new. This is a $300 chair at best, not $1,000 chair as Wayfair has priced it. Granted, there was no assembly required as it was delivered by Wayfair. Still this chair incredibly basic.
