You guys never disappoint! This chair and ottoman combo is perfect for our designated spot in our master bedroom. It gives us another spot to hang out vs being on the bed. It also gives a sweet comfy cozy vibe! Let’s talk about the packaging! Excellent. Both chair and ottoman were protected with a type of bag so that the items do not rub or wear against the box - that’s what I am guessing. Keeping the boxes and both bags to repackage when we move. The feet of the ottoman are sturdy and plastic. We will be replacing them with wooden ones just to elevate the ottoman a little. But it’s totally unnecessary as the feet are sturdy and they are perfectly fine. They hardly show underneath. The quality of both are perfect! We are very very pleased! Thanks J&M! You rock! These chairs are absolutely beautiful. Very, very well made. They are oversized in the best sense. You can cozy up in them without feeling as if they are too big. I would recommend ordering a fabric sample from Bernhardt if you aren’t 100 certain about the fabric you are choosing. Our chairs were a bit lighterbrighter blue than I was anticipating (which is understandable since all computer monitors differ in regards to color). The swivel works perfectly, as well. We purchased these for a sitting area in a bedroom at our lake house. I wanted them to swivel so you could easily see the view of the lake or the the tv inside the room. They beautifully meet both needs. The only downside was the length of time it took to receive them - 5 months - but I can see why. These are custom chairs and beautifully crafted. I was a bit disappointed when I first saw this chair in person. Due to the nature of the type of velvet used, it looks worn, not new. This is a $300 chair at best, not $1,000 chair as Wayfair has priced it. Granted, there was no assembly required as it was delivered by Wayfair. Still this chair incredibly basic.
