It has a solid wood frame that comes in a warm walnut finish, and it rests on four slender legs with the two in the back forming a classic cross-back design. The armrests curve at the edges and also in the back for an ergonomic feel, while the seat is wrapped in polyester upholstery and generously padded for just the right amount of support.

These were exactly the perfect match for my table and kitchen. I bought the table at Christmas and used my old chairs until I found the perfect fit. They are gorgeous, well made and work perfectly. I am so thrilled with my Hawkins armchairs. However, getting them was a little bit of a headache. The first four came separate from the last two. And the last two did not match the color. Joss and Main was fabulous about exchanging. It took a few tries for me to get the right color, but they were so understanding.
