70s-inspired sculptural accent chair is ultra-comfortable and substantial, in both form and presence. This natural oak and woven caned chair features a cantilevered floating seat and curved barrel-back. Perfect in pairs, or solo as an imaginative conversation piece.
I got this for our reading corner and honestly, it gives that calm, quiet mood I was hoping for. The wood has this warm tone that matches kinda everything, and that caning detail on the back feels retro but still modern-ish if that makes sense. It’s not soft like a squishy sofa, more firm but still comfy enough for a long read or just to chill with tea.
The ivory fabric is nice—has a woven texture that feels quality, not scratchy or cheap. I didn’t need to build anything, which I loved, it just came ready to go. My cat claimed it the first night (of course). The arms are a bit higher than I expected though, so not great for everyone maybe. It doesn’t swivel or rock or anything, just a chill, sit-back type of chair. Used it during Ramadan evenings and it was actually a great spot to wind down. Looks good solo or with another next to it if you have the space.. Armin. Huntsville, AL. Sun Jun 22 2025
