I found the cushion seat and backrest on the stools to be comfortable and have enough space to recline, and I like the position of footrest. The wood is solid and has a nice clean tone- a pale but still warm oak color that looks great with both the beige and cream colors. Stools came in cracked, that’s the only reason for 4 stars. Worried they will cave overtime?? We bought 6 but need 10 eventually. On the positive side, I love the color, wipeable top, and perfect size for all ages .
