The bookcase is very handsome and well made and looks great in my new contemporary condo. My disappointment is that I think I overpaid for it: almost $2400 which seems very high for what it is. While I was waiting for weeks to have it delivered, I saw that it had been reduced to around $1800 and called to see if I could get the lower price but was told only if it went on sale in the first 7 days after I purchased. The difference was so great, I considered returning it, paying for the return shipping, and reordering at the reduced price but I'd already been waiting so long.
