I was surprised by the quality of this chair for the price. Good value. My only disappointment was the overall height. I have 12' ceilings in the room and when I first placed the chairs, I was tempted to return them as they appeared like miniatures. Fortunately I overcame this by adding a tall plant placed between the chairs and placing them on a small throw rug creating a conversation area. I got this for our reading corner and honestly, it gives that calm, quiet mood I was hoping for. The wood has this warm tone that matches kinda everything, and that caning detail on the back feels retro but still modern-ish if that makes sense. It’s not soft like a squishy sofa, more firm but still comfy enough for a long read or just to chill with tea. The ivory fabric is nice—has a woven texture that feels quality, not scratchy or cheap. I didn’t need to build anything, which I loved, it just came ready to go. My cat claimed it the first night (of course). The arms are a bit higher than I expected though, so not great for everyone maybe. It doesn’t swivel or rock or anything, just a chill, sit-back type of chair. Such a beautiful accent chair! I got this to go into our guest bedroom as it is just the right size and color is the perfect neutral that it goes with just about anything. The fabric is soft and the chair is supportive yet comfy. I love the natural wood legs on the chair and could use this pretty much anywhere in my home. The packaging was spot on and the chair was well protected inside the box. It came fully assembled so I was able to put it into place right away. The style of this chair is so amazing!! It is the perfect boho-chic neutral. The swivel mechanism is top notch but you can remove it from the chair if you didn’t want that feature. Ours came with nicks and scratches on one of the front “legs” along with some minor staining on the front panel of upholstery. We are waiting to head back from Customer Service. We are very happy with the quality and appearance of these chairs. They are comfortable and sturdy. The chair is a bit firmer than what we had before but I’m hopeful this means they will hold up longer. They are a very good (largish) size, exactly what I was hoping for — I can comfortably fold my legs into the chair without them slipping off the edge. The color is really nice and is a bit more olive/muted than in the photo. The color of the wood legs is a bit darker and richer in person, which I prefer. The fabric is very soft.
