I took a chance and ordered it to try it with my adjustable base. It works just fine, I am so happy I took the chance. Delivery time was great, and white glove assembly was so worth it! 4 1/2 hours to put together!!!! The color ‘white’ on the website is more of a beige and the fabric looks almost linen-y. The hydraulic works well and there’s a ton of storage. Note that the base in the bed is not that sturdy and you won’t be able to put anything heavy in it. You absolutely will need 2 people to put this together. The bed sits much higher than what is shown in the photo. This bed does not sit like a lower profile/platform bed. The actual quality of the bed is great but the description was misleading.. We were looking for a bed that would fit under our window and there were not as many frames available under that height in the style we were looking for but this one fit perfectly. With a slight modification from our original plan. This bed was exactly what we are looking for. The description says the bed is a platform bed and no box spring is needed, while you can use this bed with just a mattress, I would recommend adding a box spring. We removed the bed slats and replaced with a 9" metal box spring. This accompanied with a 10" memory foam mattress leaves this mattress at the perfect height.
