I was surprised by the quality of this chair for the price. Good value. My only disappointment was the overall height. I have 12' ceilings in the room and when I first placed the chairs, I was tempted to return them as they appeared like miniatures. Fortunately I overcame this by adding a tall plant placed between the chairs and placing them on a small throw rug creating a conversation area. You guys never disappoint! This chair and ottoman combo is perfect for our designated spot in our master bedroom. It gives us another spot to hang out vs being on the bed. Both chair and ottoman were protected with a type of bag so that the items do not rub or wear against the box - that’s what I am guessing. Keeping the boxes and both bags to repackage when we move. The feet of the ottoman are sturdy and plastic. We will be replacing them with wooden ones just to elevate the ottoman a little. But it’s totally unnecessary as the feet are sturdy and they are perfectly fine. They hardly show underneath. The quality of both are perfect! We are very very pleased! Thanks J&M! You rock! The only drawbacks are - it is a tad on the shorter side (but not terrible) and the price was very high for a chair that has a too firm seat - I expected soft and cushy comfort.
