I was surprised by the quality of this chair for the price. Good value. My only disappointment was the overall height. I have 12' ceilings in the room and when I first placed the chairs, I was tempted to return them as they appeared like miniatures. Fortunately I overcame this by adding a tall plant placed between the chairs and placing them on a small throw rug creating a conversation area. One crucial aspect to consider is the chair's dimensions. Given the size of our living room and existing sofa chairs, the Gabe armchair did not blend seamlessly with our decor. The chair's back height is noticeably lower than that of our sofa, and the seat cushion is just 16 inches from the floor to the top. However, we found the seat cushion's depth to be more than adequate. Despite these size challenges, we decided to keep the chair, and it now occupies a lovely space in our guest bedroom, where it looks right at home.
