I was surprised by the quality of this chair for the price. Good value. My only disappointment was the overall height. I have 12' ceilings in the room and when I first placed the chairs, I was tempted to return them as they appeared like miniatures. Fortunately I overcame this by adding a tall plant placed between the chairs and placing them on a small throw rug creating a conversation area. However, we found the seat cushion's depth to be more than adequate. The only drawbacks are - it is a tad on the shorter side (but not terrible) and the price was very high for a chair that has a too firm seat - I expected soft and cushy comfort. Really nice chair and appears well made. It’s a beautiful green velvet, I would say an olive green. Very comfortable and does sit a little low but it’s ok.
