Ordered one to see if it was what we wanted and would work with our new kitchen design. Turns out to be perfect so will be ordering a second one now. Metal is not shinny and leather although not the highest quality will patina nicely with age

I looked forever for stools and these checked all the boxes for what I was looking for. They are comfortable and leather seat is of good quality, The only issue I have with them is that 2 of the 3 stools I ordered had missing rubber pads on the bottom so not only do they wobble but offer no protection to my hardwood floor. I contacted Joss Main and they are sending out replacement pieces. Unfortunately it appears that after minimal use some of the other rubber pads are falling off. I really like the stools so I am replacing the rubber pads with felt pads that I purchased separately.

I ordered two counter stools in the brown leather/black metal colorway on sale for $189 each. Unfortunately, the stools that arrived are noticeably different in color—one is a reddish brown, while the other has a cooler brown tone. I would’ve been fine with either shade if they had matched. In addition, one of the stools wobbles slightly and its leather seat isn’t woven as tightly as the other, making it feel less supportive. That said, they do appear to be genuine leather, which is rare to find at this price point, even if the leather isn’t top-tier. The seat itself is larger and more oversized than I expected, but the overall silhouette is attractive. Still debating whether to return both or try reordering one, though I’m unsure if the color will match. For reference, they’re made in India.
