We love the look of this coffee table but the quality does not match the price. The quality is more congruent with a discount furniture piece. When we took it out of the box the stain had ver noticeable imperfections. Lookslike the wood glue didnt get cleaned off properly so the stain didnt take consistently into wood grain. Wayfair was great and gave us a discount. But now less than a month in, it is showing really disappointing signs of wear. The black stain is coming off so the natural wood grain is showing. But the biggest disappointment is the large chip in the corner. Wayfair said they cant do anything but have me return it and buy a new one for full price, but this table is not the quality of a 700 dollar piece. Beware! See photos.

The size and scale of this coffee table is perfect for our new sectional, and I was thrilled that I only had to wait a few weeks for delivery. The coffee table is all wood, which made me think it would have a natural stain finish. The pictures also made me think this, but it has more of a painted finish. I’ve included a close up—sorry for the glare in the picture. I really like the coffee table, but I gave it four stars because the finish has some imperfections around a couple of the edges where the paint isn’t blended very well. Realistically, it’s something only I will notice as long as it stands the test of time.
