This bookcase is exactly what I wanted for my craft room. I didn't want "storage" or a traditional bookcase look - I wanted something more stylish and "artistic" looking that would accommodate a lot of books, baskets and boxes but also my favorite tchotchkes. I loved the first one so much that I decided to order a second one to fill the wall. The photo is of the bookcase as it is now ~ there is still a lot of arranging and re-arranging to do. I love this and I appreciate the great communication/customer service that J&M provides.

Great design. Perfectly matched my wall. Does not look heavy though quite heavy to lift. Preinstalled - it was nice. The only disappointment is the damage on one of the shelves. I am still keeping it since scratch can't be seen unless you stand close to the shelf. My friend was impressed and wants the one to her place in Florida.

This bookcase is exactly what we needed! It created the effect of a closed & intimate living room space without blocking the view through the bookcase. I was able to anchor it to the wood floor with "L" shape brackets, which secure it from tipping over or moving. It is an elegant and sturdy piece of furniture. Assembly took approximately 30 minutes to complete and can be done by one person (but note that the unit is heavy when fully assembled).
