This chair is beautifully as a display piece. The lines are perfect, the velvet is soft, it is true to the colors, both upholstery and wood base. The proportions are well balanced however it is NOT a comfortable chair. The seat cushion is way too thin and therefore too hard, this should be addressed and corrected by the manufacturer because it is truly an attractive piece of furniture. I am glad I did not buy 2 as I had originally planned.
