I recently purchased the Bar height stools and loved the product. To match the stools at our kitchen island, I then purchased the Counter height. Within day 34 of ownership, the stool cracked across the seat, which is both noticeable, uncomfortable and quickly becoming dangerous to sit on. After contacting Joss and Main to try to resolve the issue with hopefully returning/receiving a new chair, I was told that since it’s past 30 days, there is nothing they can do. They recommended reaching out to the manufacturer, but were also unable to give me any contact info or how to get in touch with the manufacturer. I am not one to write reviews, but will admit I read many of them when buying a product. Overall I liked the chairs, but the quality and especially the customer service is a big let down. It’s evident that the chair has a manufacturer defect, so beware when purchasing one yourself. If it’s past 30 days, it’s now 100% your problem. For the price point, I hoped for better quality, or at least someone willing to stand behind it even after 4 days past a return date.

Love these stools! They come fully assembled, just need to unpack and they’re ready to go. Was surprised at how sturdy they feel considering they’re not too heavy to lift. Color is great, highly recommend.

These chairs are really nice. They look even better in person… they are lighter than I thought they would be, but sturdy. Shipping was fast! I think I ordered them Saturday and they were on my porch Monday at noon. The packaging was excellent. I am very pleased with how they look in my new kitchen space.

These bar-height stools are lovely. They are the correct proportion for a bar table (in contrast to counter-height) and the proportions are great. They were somewhat annoying to put together, and there are some staples in the roping that are unsightly - I think I'll pull them out when I get the chance and find the correct implement for the job, as they don't look like they are needed to keep the material in place. They don't quite push under my bar table due to the width of the table's pedestal base, and I wish I had thought about getting something wider to slide around the pedestal (if that's even possible to find). The main drawback I have experienced is that the material is not super comfortable especially if you are wearing shorts, and I have found marks on my legs from it. The package arrived a little later than originally suggested. Overall, I think these stools are a pretty good deal, as they were significantly less expensive than the bar stools with leather padded seats that I wanted from another store.. Erin. CA. It’s actually perfect for the space. We just had these built-ins installed and I didn’t want an expensive desk chair since we don’t use the space for long periods of time.
