This is a dining bench — presumably for 2 people — but it is rated only for 150 lbs. I guess it’s okay for 2 small children but not 2 adults! It works okay for a bench for our front hall but seat sags a bit right from the start.

Love this bench! It has a smaller footprint, which is exactly what we needed for our hallway, next to our console table. Pleased with the purchase. It was packaged well with no damage. Only drawback was a few dessicant bags broke open during shipping and hundreds of little balls flew all over the house when I pulled the bench out of the box. Really messy!

When I opened the box and saw the underside of the bench, the stapling looked wonky. I realized for the pricepoint, it was OK. I have a 5 year-old grandson and this seems durable and sturdy. I normally use leather but couldn't find a small size. I added felt seat pads to bench and chairs. Assembly was easy.
