Tillie Abstract Shaped Marble End Table With Metal Legs

I got this end table for my living room because the design caught my eye, the abstract shaped marble top paired with the gold tapered legs gives it a really sculptural look that works well as a statement piece. The marble has a soft textured finish that feels organic and the light tone keeps it from feeling too heavy in the space. The gold legs add a nice contrast and have a polished finish that catches the light without looking flashy. The overall size is right for what I needed, fits between my couch and chair without crowding the area. Now here’s where I have to be honest about my experience, the first one I received didnt sit flush on the frame, the marble had a noticeable wobble or unevenness on one side. I went through the return process and they sent me a replacement which I appreciated. The second one is better but still not perfect, the back right corner doesnt quite sit completely level. From what I can tell its either the frame isnt totally flat in that spot or the underside of the marble needs to be sanded down a bit on that corner to even it out. Its not as bad as the first one and from a normal viewing angle you cant really tell, but its something I notice when I’m wiping it down. Once its in place with a lamp or some decor on top it works fine and holds weight without wobbling thanks to the solid metal legs. The marble itself is genuine and has nice variation in the surface texture, no two pieces are gonna look exactly the same which I think adds character. Cleaning is easy with a damp cloth and the surface hasnt picked up any stains from drink condensation so far. If your considering this one just be aware that the marble to frame fit might not be perfect, mine took two tries and still has a small issue on one corner. Knocking off a star for that reason but otherwise its a striking piece and I’d still reccomend it if your willing to accept some minor imperfection in fit.
