Maroma Solid Wood Storage Cabinet

The actual piece itself is beautiful. However ... the color is not at all pictured. It truly is a light gray. It is not a sturdy piece at all and was delivered damaged. It is not worth the value at all but still is a pretty piece. It is very light weight and not heavy at all which makes me question if it is real wood. I kept it and received a discount for the damage to get it repaired. I am going to use it in another room to store bottled water.

The first thing you'll notice when you get this home is that it is most definitely NOT dark brown as it said in the description when I bought it. It is gray, kind of washed out gray. I was surprised by the color but I do love the looks of it and it goes well in my entryway. It's very heavy wood, and kind of rustic. It stands tall because it has the metal legs on the bottom. The cabinet doors seem a bit clunky, the inside has one shelf. I'm attaching a photo of this chest in front of my old one which is dark mahogany brown. I feel it's a little overpriced for the level of quality but I know it would be great for others who are looking for an unusual piece for their entryway.

My piece had some small damage. I sent a note inquiring about it with a photo and did not hear back. Overall the piece is nice but that is not good service not to respond after delivering a product with a defect.
