The Tito End Table is a very well designed, and well made small end table. It is efficiently proportioned, being compact overall and also a good height for positioning next to a typical couch or lounging chair. It is made of spun aluminum (see photo of table upside down), so it has the advantage of being light weight and impervious to liquids. The welded seam around the top of the table is smooth and expertly crafted, as shown in the detail photo with the pen as a reference to scale. The sunburst-type pattern in the top consists of short lines struck into the surface, which is a very nice touch and adds a nice element of visual interest. Some furnishings these days are finished in a way that can make it difficult to tell what material they are made of: wood looking like metal, metal looking like wood, composite looking like concrete, etc..There is no mistaking that this table is metal, as it has a distinctive sheen that comes through the charcoal grey lightly stained finish. A disadvantage of the aluminum drum design is just that... placing a cup or glass down onto, and picking it up from the surface results in a metallic drum-type of sound, which I don't care for. My remedy for that was to turn it upside down and fill the underside of the top with spray foam insulation, which did a good job of eliminating the unwanted metallic sounds. I'm really not one for doing product reviews, but reading the end table reviews on Joss & Main was very helpful to me in my decision making process, so I hope that my real-world review may be of help to others who may be considering the Tito table. Final words: it looks great, works great, is practical, functional, and is an excellent value for the price. Also, the packaging was excellent, and it even arrived 2 days early.. David. Memphis.
