Chessa 60" Round Dining Table

Love this table but we got the dark color and it has some inconsistencies in the finish.

Update: we’ve had this table about 2 months now. While I still love the size and look, the quality is lacking. It already has cracks in the top, and oil is seeping in the cracks. It scratches SO easily. I don’t know that there’s any sealing on the table. I’m so disappointed. I tried contacting joss and main about the terrible quality and they said there’s nothing they can do since it’s over their 30 day return window. For a $2,000 table, this is just unacceptable! Definitely won’t be buying from them ever again. The table was delivered faster than expected. It is beautiful! It does have a few areas that are yellow-ish looking, but I think that is just the stain. The top is very smooth and easy to wipe down. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure how durable the top is- that is my only concern. It looks like it could scratch/stain easily. I will update later to speak to the durability with kids and heavy daily use!

BUYER BEWARE, our experience with J&M and this product have been terrible. First, we ordered this in July 2023, with the understanding that this was on backorder until September. J&M delayed delivery multiple times, without much communication, until we finally received it in late January 2024: 6 months after we ordered it. The "light wood" option was much darker than in the picture on the site, as you can see from the photos, but we would live with it. However, after a couple months of usage as our kitchen table, oil seeped into and stained the natural crevices in the wood. Clearly, the manufacturer failed to seal the table properly. This didn't happen until after a couple months of use, so J&M rejected -- within a couple hours, without any engagement about the quality of the product -- multiple requests we asked them to make it right (for example, just replacing the top and not the base), noting it was out of their 30-day return policy. J&M fails to stand behind their products, so beware purchasing this table or anything from them.

Lovely - well made and great look. There are some imperfections on top (especially the last photo) that we don’t prefer but can live with …overall we are happy. I imagine it can hold 6 of these chairs (once we order the rest) Now to just change out lighting!

It’s a very beautiful table. Very well made and sturdy. It makes the room more beautiful. Love it
