We're very happy with these chairs

This chair is quite nice, though it was too short for our table. When you sit, the cushion sits a good inch and a half lower than the dimensions say, and I felt a little bit like a midget at the table. The fit and finish of this chair though is gorgeous if a lower than average height chair is ok for you. The walnut is real and really pretty and it’s a great value.  my picture shows our old chair which we were trying to replace with these chairs. freference of height. 

I'm so pleased with these solid wood dining chairs and with Joss & Main's customer service. PROS: Quick shipping. Excellent packaging to prevent any chance of damage. Fully assembled, ready to use right out of the box. Beautiful walnut stain, consistent on all chairs. High-quality woven fabric seats with comfortable padding. Very sturdy. Chair measurements are consistent with what was detailed on the J&M website. CONS: Absolutely None. I wish I'd bought them sooner!

We purchased 6 of the Holmes Ladder chairs made from Walnut. Each one is beautifully made and perfect. They arrived well packed and undamaged. The seat cushions are covered in a beautiful low maintenance fabric and the inside is cushioned with a firm padding. We are very happy with this purchase. Thank you!

The Good: Great workmanship and beautiful craftsmanship. Light-weight. Solid wood as advertised! Really nice finish and consistent stain. I agree with another reviewer--there truly are fine shimmery gold thread lines woven through out; so not truly and fully Gray. It adds a warm-up to your decor. Cons: The padding is only ok--could have been upholstered with a denser, more comfy padding in my opinion. I give the seat padding a 6.5 out of 10. I don't know that the comfort level of the padding will exceed 30 minutes of sitting for some?? Overall: the look is great. Works well with our custom Black Walnut (warmer-side of wood) dining table. I do plan on ordering more of these. I like that in the future we should be able to simply remove 4 screws to remove the seat and get it reupholstered when the time comes.
