Bed seems to be good quality for the price. Wood is nicely painted. Took off one star for the work required to put the bed together - it arrived as a kit broken down to individual boards. We had purchased (and scheduled) the assembly service at checkout, but it never got scheduled in their system, so we just cancelled the service. Apparently they outsource assembly services to Angie's List - not sure if that was the hiccup.
