Calandra Slat Bed

Bed looks great , but the cross frame support or bed slats are so weak that 3 of the 5 broke within just a few months of having.

The cross mattress supports are so far apart and poorly placed (like not even present at foot and head of bed) it feels like a joke. Purchased a bunkie board to help but frame is so large there’s a massive gap 2-3” between mattress and frame all around, especially by headboard. A box spring maybe could perhaps help, but not to keep the profile on the picture. Can’t return because you can’t see any of this unassembled. Color is true and finish nice, so it gets an extra star but stay away.

Bed frame is awesome but the slats are trash. TWO broke while gently screwing them in and they are not sturdy at all.

Great bed overall. I bought a queen size. Package arrived on time and in great conditions. Very easy to put together, didn’t took me more than 40min. Good quality. Looks very stylish on my bedroom. 100 recommended.
