A little rustic, but a smooth finish and pretty table. Seems like it can be dressed up for a more formal dining room.

It does not look like the picture and it’s not real wood. It is advertised as a solid wood table but I have had 2 people come into my home (including the company that assembled it) now and they both stated that it is not real wood. It is very light and I am able to move it with one hand. Really disappointed. The color is also not a brown color but a grey wash. Really wish I could return, but I was away at work when it was delivered and just got back. So I am pass the time to return.

Exceeded our expectations! Was so worried based on previous reviews. If you’re thinking about this Thompkins table, don’t hesitate. It’s beautiful, dark stain, solid wood. We waited almost six weeks for this delivery, as it kept getting delayed, delayed, delayed. I almost canceled my order two days ago - so glad I held out. Thank you, Wayfair! Another quality item from you is in our home.
