Really want to give it higher rating because these counter stools are absolutely gorgeous and surprisingly comfortable! However, the order purchased (2 stools come in one order - I ordered 2 so I’d have 4 total). For the price ($699/order), definitely expected better quality. Out of the 4 stools, only 1 stool was perfect. 2 Stools came with a broken footpad. 1 stool came with “scraped off gold” on one of the legs. The scraped part was on one of the back legs and on the inner part - so when the chair is at the counter pushed in, you can’t see it. Not ideal but I ended up with now 2 usable stools. Still, pretty disappointing. We tried to glue the broken foot pads but my husband wasn’t successful. I proceeded to realize I’d need to call Wayfair. Wayfair customer service was wonderful - first off, I was in hold for perhaps a minute or two before my turn came up. It was a Thursday at approximately 10:45 am. I didn’t expect such a short wait time. Once I explained my woes regarding the stools to the representative, she offered to resend my order free of charge (since they had enough stock of them to do so). She also mentioned I didn’t need to return the stools I had already received, and to donate if possible or get rid of. I just hoped I’d get 4 usable stools that weren’t all scraped up either. The second order came within a week and this time I decided to put them together myself since the husband is a little burned out on putting furniture together (we moved recently). Two of the stools (1 out of each box) had the same issue of the foot bad being broken off. And to clarify - the black pads at the end of the legs is what I’m referring to. It is “broken” off like a black little circle (disc). There’s not a lot of width circumference around the leg end to put glue and glue it. I’m going to try though just in case I’m successful even though my husband attempted. Since I’m not super adept at putting furniture together, I am a little slower than most I’m sure but I’ll wager I took about an hour to unpack, read the instructions, check my parts and get 2 stools put together. The first took the longer and the second quicker so it’s not hard, just had to get in the groove and get my work station setup so I didn’t place the stool seat directly on the garage floor so it didn’t get scratched. Chairs are really easy to clean - I used a basic kitchen spray cleaner with a blue shop paper towel. This helps eliminate streaks, smudges and fingerprints. And the stools are visually not obtrusive in the room or take up “space” which is what I was hoping for. For now, I did get 4 usable stools and am satisfied - of course one has the scraped leg. I just hope they last because my husband is super skeptical at how long those other foot pads will last. We are researching little “caps” to fit ‘over’ the bottom part of each leg, as a backup plan if we do need to find an alternate method — but for now, deep breath, sigh of relief, I have 4 stools and fingers and toes crossed they will last! PS: I do have a suspicion and idea that in the way the stools are packaged, could be the cause of the broken foot pad. It was packaged nicely and carefully from what I could tell but the stool base that is packed with the legs down (the ones touching the bottom of the box) is what the issue is. Each bottom leg is packaged with a soft styrofoam-y material but somehow the possible repeated impact in transit and handling causes the break (almost it “pops off”)? Just a thought and if Wayfair reviews these reviews, could be something to audit or look into if there is such a department. Thanks again Wayfair for being here for us and our home furnishing needs (and at times furniture woes.)

Legit obsessed with these barstools. Sturdy and just as pictured. One call out is to get a lucite polishing kit - it will get scratches that need to be buffed out.

Looks good, says they’re brushed nickel but they look chrome. Also I was missing a stopper on the bottom of one of the legs
