Genevieve Bench

Great idea, poor execution. Bench arrived with the brass looking a little duller than I expected, and the legs slightly bent (not square to the ground). The fabric seams draw attention to themselves, is it just the fabric pattern, or the result of low-quality fabric and/or craftsmanship? I would have overlooked all of this. But my initial sitting on the bench revealed a wobbly seat--the welding had failed where the seat bench meets the legs. Wayfair was quick to send a replacement with instructions for a return. Very impressed with that customer service! Unfortunately, the next bench arrived with incredibly bent legs. This manufacturer has serious QC issues. An unfortunate waste of time and shipping for all parties. Returned the second one and got a full refund. What a shame.

Love this bench! I bought it on sale and am thrilled with my purchase. Modern and sturdy. I don’t know why fabric description says cream. It is really a grey herring bone pattern exactly as picture shows and I didn’t have to wait 4-8 weeks for delivery!

This is great size and well done, only problem is that one of the metal legs is slightly bent, likely during shipping.

Bench came with a bent leg and was also cracked where seat frame meets the leg, making it impossible to sit on. Joss and Main was responsive to the issue. Overall, the bench is nice looking but cheaply made. Seems expensive for what it is.
