One of those solid pillows. It has a good shape and sits up nicely. The fabric is beautiful, though the design is only on one side. It isn't soft and comfortable, it feels like a piece of an old rug turned into a pillow. It looks great on my sofa. On mine the decoration goes across two sides not just the top as the photo shows. The pattern is also different from the photo, much more complex and detailed. I love the color, dark plumb.

The color is pretty much like in the picture - deep purple, real purple, not plum or eggplant, with white embroidery. The woolen front is scratchy, but if you need the pillow for support you can flip it to the back, which is canvas. The insert is filled with feathers, not down as my description said. Overall, I am pleased because the pillow goes well with my other pillows.
