nice bookends, just enough weight to make them useful and secure. They have 4 white felt type pads to insure grip and not scratch any surface upon which they are used. I had noted the dimensions prior to buying but I'd actually like them to be even larger and heavier and I'd pay more. I have an old pair of hand carved horse head bookends which are very large and heavy so I'm always looking out for new bookends to buy that are equal in size and weight, these at least come closer than most.

These bookends are perfect! They’re pretty, the shape is unique, and they work incredibly well. I think this style is versatile enough to fit with most styles of homes as well. They’re very heavy, so they’re stronger than any books you decide to use them with which is fantastic! Had no chips in the marble or anything like that when they arrived. They came in perfect condition!
