Very nice light weight comforter. Purchased 1st one 2-3 years ago as a stand-alone bed cover, and it has performed exceptionally well through several machine washings. The pillow shams are for decorative pillows and they have pretty grey velvet bows on the corners. Overall, looks very high end. As a cover, it’s very breathable, but not the softest I’ve had. I have the Elsa Grey Matelasse Coverlet as well as the Lodi Silver Matelasse Coverlet. I love them both, and they look great together, but the Elsa is my favorite because it’s more flexible and softer than the Lodi which is slightly more stiff. The Elsa has 2 distinct layers of fabric and feels warmer making it a better choice in winter. The one drawback to the Elsa is that the embroidered designs sometimes get snagged.
