Tender to the touch and soft against the skin, our subtly textured double cloth cotton matelassé is interwoven with a patchwork of artisanal inspired Nordic folkstitch patterns. Laundered and tumbled for lived in homeyness, this bedding has traditional appeal, feeling like a family heirloom, handed down through generations.

I have the Elsa Grey Matelasse Coverlet as well as the Lodi Silver Matelasse Coverlet. I love them both, and they look great together, but the Elsa is my favorite because it’s more flexible and softer than the Lodi which is slightly more stiff. The Elsa has 2 distinct layers of fabric and feels warmer making it a better choice in winter. The one drawback to the Elsa is that the embroidered designs sometimes get snagged.
