A beautiful coverlet but the color is more brown than gray. Very luxurious but had to return.

More of a taupe color, took a few days to grow on me. Very pretty.

Extraordinary! I did a lot of research on velvet quilts. Its expensive but worth it in that this is cotton velvet - not synthetic. The quality is perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I expect it to last many years. Word of caution. There is a “light gray” and dark gray version. I returned the light gray which is not a gray but a beige or off-white. Hard to tell in the website photo. The one I now have is called charcoal. It is a lovely dark rich gray. Looks very lux. Love it!
