Goose Feather Down Blend Pillow, 100% Cotton Shell, Medium Support Sleep Pillows (Set of 2)

I don’t use these pillows for sleeping and instead use them as decorative pillows. They’re very full, puff up nicely and I recommend them so far.

Lumpy. Even after fluffing several times I can feel the quill shafts through the cover. Will be returning pillows.

These are great down pillows for the price. They have just the right amount of filling and the encasement and stitchery is high quality. There is nothing like a nice feather/ down pillow - very supportive, wonderfully moldable and conforming! I have tried high end synthetic polyfill imitation down and although that has come a long way- it still can't achieve the same lofty feeling of the real deal. I've had zero issues with feathers poking through or escaping. However, I did take off a point as there is a persistent faint smell that is common with real goose products. I'm hoping after I wash them that will dissipate completely -

The set of pillows came rolled up but they immediately fluffed up. The quality of the covering is nice and the pillows are VERY comfortable. Love them!

The 'only good thing' about this pillow is that since it is goose, there is no odor (that what the 1 star is for, otherwise it would be 0 stars). It appears the lowest quality and largest size feathers were used. FYI - this isn't my first rodeo. I have had feather and/or down pillows, featherbeds, and duvet inserts/comforters over the last 40 years. I choose only goose since they are vegetarians (I've never had a fowl odor), whereas duck is more of a toss of a coin since they aren't solely vegetarians (so I don't take the chance anymore). But, I have to admit that I have never had any product with such large/course feathers as this before (and I've had products from multiple retailers/manufacturers). The pillow is going back. I have never ordered from Joss & Main before. I thought they were a retailer who carried quality items at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, there is essentially no quality to this pillow regardless of price.
