This is a real statement piece medicine cabinet. It's far heavier than I expected, so be prepared with a strong assistant for installation. Also it's 100% intended to be surface mounted. The only negative comment I might make is that to door doesn't swing open quite as far as I would expect it to.

I've been using this medicine cabinet for almost a year now and am in love with it. The design is gorgeous. The shelves are easy to put it and change. Quality is great; I particularly like how the material on the side is the gold finish instead of cheapo plastic stuff that's on a lot of medicine cabinets. Couldn't be happier!

Love this medicine cabinet! We bought 2 for a double sink vanity. Very nice quality. I did add little felt pads on the frame so the door closing is quiet.

It's a nice construction and finish. Mirror is quite a bit bigger than the storage box behind, so just be aware and confirm that the box is sufficiently large for your needs.
