This coffee table is well built and I like the overall look. Like one reviewer said, I wouldn’t call it a brass finish. It’s more gold than brass in my opinion. The glass top is thick but they wrap it in this plastic that left smears on the glass that the glass cleaner won’t take off so I’ll have to figure out how to remove that. The glass top was well packaged but the frame is just wrapped in some plastic with cardboard on the feet so I think they could have done better with the packaging. I wish they hadn’t used FEDEX. They are a horrible shipping company. They broke my first table and sent it back but customer service was pretty quick to send me a second table at no cost. Unfortunately FEDEX still managed to mess that up by delivering it to the wrong address. They delivered it to the apartment complex next door that mirrors our apartment but they obviously have a different address. Once I figured it out I rush over there to get it but the box was so big that it wouldn’t fit in my car so I had to take the table and glass out the large box to fit it in my trunk and I just put the empty box on top of my roof to drive back. Overall, I'm happy and surprised at the quality. The unit came well packed and the construction is sturdy and heavy. But I'm downgrading one star as they failed to match the marble on one edge. The entire unit is white marble, but as can be seen at the bottom of the photo, the manufacturer inserted a grey piece to finish out part of one edge. This presents a dilemma as this would be far to heavy to return and would be difficult to repack.
