Top shelf bolt holes misaligned and do not allow hardware to screw in, both top pieces held in by wooden dowels (provided) and tensioncompression of the rest of bookshelf. The defect isn’t readily apparent with the rest of the shelves in place and tightened. Overall seems like a sturdy piece and was easy to assemble by myself. Nice navy color. This is a very sturdy, solid bookcase and fits perfectly in the snall entryway to our coastal bedroom. I rated it a 4 because one of the cane panels wasn't stretched tight enough compared to the others so there was a slight bulge. Otherwise, it would have been a 5. The cane is a nice touch to complement the wood. Wayfair Customer Service has been great in resolving the issue. I also used the assembly service from Angi.
