This is a cute lamp! The metal is more of a brassy gold look. The big glass bulb shade is white plastic and not see through. There is a step on switch in the cord which is convenient. I personally would have liked to have been able to make this lamp taller to better fit the room. It clearly said 62” but that didn’t register with me, so be sure to know if this size will work.
