It’s supposed to look distressed which is the intentional design. However, it’s distressed only on half of the rug. The other half is vibrant in color. It looks like a damaged rug instead of being intentionally distressed. To add insult to injury, they are charging me 20% of the cost to return it. Not happy.

I absolutely love this rug! I ordered the felted pad to go underneath it. I used to work in a rug store and I have a deep love for beautiful well-made rugs. The soft faded colors of this rug are perfect. Really low nap works great and my upstairs landing so doors can open and close and the rug pad gives it such a luxurious feel. Will definitely order again.
