3 Ways to Fake a Linen Closet

Small space dwellers, rejoice!

Organizing your extra sheets, blankets, and bath towels without an actual linen closet is easier than you think. Simply carve out space in a central location and try out one of these game-changing storage solutions.

1. Add a storage ottoman or bench.

These pieces are the epitome of versatility. Store extra sheets and towels in an upholstered bench at the foot of your bed, tuck plush throws and pillows in a living room ottoman, and provide extra seating in a pinch.

2. Try a shelf or ladder.

Lean a tall decorative ladder against a wall in the living room for blankets, or use it in the bathroom to hang towels and washcloths. To really maximize vertical space, mount wall shelves with baskets, then roll towels and blankets to fit.

3. Bring in a dresser or cabinet.

Stow spare pillowsand linens in a bedroom hallway cabinet or chest of drawers. To keep everything tidy and wrinkle-free, place pillows upright between stacks of sheets or lean on drawer organizers.
